We're

of The SKETCH_PAD,
our
company's monthly newsletter. At CATALYST, we believe it's
important to keep in touch with our
community. We look
forward to sharing with you each
month the ideas and
innovations we're
exploring. The SKETCH_PAD is intended to
be a resource for
upcoming sustainable events, as well as for new earth-friendly
products, materials and technologies.
We're pleased to announce that the Highlands
Center LEED-NC
project
(above) will be breaking ground this month. After nearly a year
of exploring design and energy system options, our
client, The Highlands Center For Natural History has signed a
contract
with Haley Construction to begin the work. The new 4,250 sq. ft.
James
Learning Center will be the educational and administrative
home for the Highlands Center
organization, and will be entirely off-grid. We are currently
preparing the required documentation for submittal to the US Green
Building Council for what we expect will be a LEED-NC Gold
certification.
We at CATALYST
