PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ- CATALYST ARCHITECTURE  will be displaying its work to those who are interested in ecological building trends at the Creative Energy Fair, being held on September 13th and 14th, at the Tim’s Toyota Center in Prescott Valley.

The Fair will showcase solar and wind power, water harvesting, and alternative means of transportation among the numerous products and technologies that can be used to reduce our impact upon the planet.

The principals of
CATALYST ARCHITECTURE are known throughout the region as leaders in energy and environmental design, with both Matthew Ackerman and Jeffrey Zucker being LEED Accredited.  The James Learning Center at the Highlands Center for Natural History, designed by CATALYST ARCHITECTURE, was recently awarded Yavapai County’s first LEED-Gold Certification.

A presentation of this building will be made during the fair by Jeffrey Zucker, LEED AIA, to discuss the energy and resource efficient aspects of the building, including the specific credit areas which contributed to its LEED-Gold rating.  Mr. Zucker will also make a separate presentation about the LEED process itself, illustrating the thought and process that goes into the design and documentation of such a building.  The cost of constructing a green building, as well as obtaining LEED certification will also be covered.

LEED-Gold James Environmental Learning CenterLaurel Collins, AAS ICC, Project Manager at CATALYST will also be on hand at the CATALYST ARCHITECTURE booth to distribute literature about the company's work, and answer any questions about the firm's current projects.

Participants will have an opportunity to sign up for
the company newsletter, pick up a brochure, and have their questions answered about the current state-of-the-art in sustainable design and construction practices.

Jeffrey and Laurel look forward to seeing
you there!
