CATALYST Principal Zucker Honored at Mayer Fire Station Grand Opening

MAYOR, AZ– Mayer Fire District dedicated their new Firehouse and Administration Building on Saturday, December 1st.

In addition to housing four fire trucks, Firehouse #2 is a comfortable home-away-from-home for the on-call firefighters, with large kitchen and living areas and private bunk rooms. Fire Chief, Glenn Brown and the Mayor Fire Department Board Members proudly welcomed hundreds of supporters to their open house.

Local residents, affiliated emergency responders, county officials, fire fighters from across the region, and many people involved with the development and financing of the project came to help celebrate, tour the facilities, and enjoy a barbeque.

Several key individuals were personally honored by Chief Brown and the Fire District for their contributions in making the project a reality.  Jeffrey L. Zucker, AIA of Prescott-based CATALYST ARCHITECTURE were among those honored.  Chief Brown acknowledged that Jeff was, in effect, the “last man standing” in the over five-year effort required to bring the project to its completion.

A plaque of gratitude was given to
CATALYST ARCHITECTURE reading:

MAYOR FIRE
Thanks
CATALYST ARCHITECTURE

Catalyst Architecture and Jeffrey Zucker, were the only people involved in the Mayer Fire Administration and Station #2 project from start to finish.  What began as an initial design concept in early 2002 was finally brought to fruition in late 2007. Mayer Fire would like to thank you for all your hard work, time and effort toward our project.

Last week's dedication of Mayer Firehouse #2 was an authentic expression of how it often takes  so many individuals coming together with a common vision, to help create community and achieve community goals.

Concepts that Jeff is right at home with…
