Mayor-Elect Jack Wilson To Present Perspectives on City of Prescott Water Issues


Topics to be discussed include the Verde River Basin Partnership, the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation appraisal-level study, and resurrecting the mitigation committee for the proposed Big Chino pipeline. 

Mayor-Elect Wilson will also talk about the current ADWR rule-making process; SB 1575, which allows counties to turn down subdivisions due to an inadequate water supply upon a unanimous vote of the supervisors; water conservation; and water districts.  A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.
