Prescott's Earth Day Celebration 2007

Prescott's Earth Day celebration will be on Saturday April 21st from 11-4 at Granite Creek Park in downtown Prescott.  Earth Day is free to the public, and all ages are welcome.



There will be live music and performance; food; exhibits by local non-profit organizations, artists, school groups, and businesses; and an interactive "senses walk" produced by local sculptor Roger Asay and student's from Tony Brown's Ecosa institute.

Prior to the celebration in the Park, Prescott Creeks Preservation Association will be sponsoring the annual Granite Creek Clean-Up. It will be from 8-10. For more information, and to register e-mail info@prescottcreeks.org

Juanita Hull-Carlson will be leading a workshop, during the Earth Day event, for people who want to decorate their "wheels" for Tsunami's annual art on wheels parade in June. Members of the public are encouraged to bring their bikes, scooters, skateboards, strollers, etc... and create a rolling piece of art! For more information e-mail zenzibar@earthlink.net
